Mrs.Mitchell was born Sept.8;1909;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Smerekoski Janus. A Catholic by faith;she had resided in the Belle Vernon area for most of her life. Her husband;Michael J.Mitchell;died July 3;1988. A son;James Keith Watson;and a brother;George Janus;are also deceased.
