Mrs.Mason was a member of the Nazrene Church of Belle Vernon. She was a life-long resident of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a sister;Harriet Bainbridge in 1993;and a granddaughter;Jenny Cipley in 1992. Antioch Baptist Church; Belle
Vernon.
A veteran of the U.S. Army;
Mr. Mills was a member of the
Monessen American Legion.
He was a former employee of
Jones Frozen Foods and retired
from PennDOT.

was preceded in death by one
brother; Charles; and four
sisters; Marian; Gertrude; Sherdina and Genevieve.

Born Dec.6;1922;in Monongahela;he was the son of the late Harry and Pauline Assel McGavitt. Mr.McGavitt resided in Belle Vernon for 50 years and attended the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church. In 1981;because of ill health;he retired from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he was employed as a millwright. He and his wife;Anna Fike McGavitt;would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in October 1994. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by two brothers;Harry and Thomas McGavitt. over 60 years.
He retired in 1968 from the
Page Plant in Monessen where
he had worked as a wire drawer.

was preceded in death by his
first wife; Jean McGraw Moore;
who died May 21; 1938; his second wife; Agnes Vitza Sinclair
Moore; who died Oct. 28;1988; a
stepson; George T. Sinclair; one
