Willaim F.McGill;70;of 512 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Nov.14;1994;at 6:40 p.m.in Jefferson Hospital. Born March 4;1924;in North Belle Vernon;he was the son of the late George and Helen Kuhn McGill. Mr.McGill spent almost all of his adult life in Belle Vernon and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He retired Sept.30;1982;from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and American Legion Post 4876 of Altus;Okla.;and a life member and past commander of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He served with the U.S.Army during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. Survivors include his wife;Eva Pesi McGill;two sons and daughters-in-law;Kevin and LuAnn McGill of Forward Township and Robert and Diane McGill of Altus;Okla;;one daughter;Mrs.Richard (Cheryl) Boyles of North Charleroi;one sister;Mrs.Robert (Berneil) Lewis of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. She was born Nov.19;1930;a daughter of the late Leon Troope and Rosae Mae Robinson. Mrs. Mills was retired from Mayview State Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Monessen; and attended Monessen Public Schools. Mrs.MIlls was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;where she was a member of the Usher Board;Mt.Calvary Gospel Chorus;was former president and vice president of the chorus;and was a member and former secretary of the Senior Missionary Society. Mr.McCraw spent most of his life in Monessen. He moved to Brandywine;Md.;approximately 30 years ago. He was a former employee of Pittsburgh Steel Co.of Monessen. Mr.McCraw formerly was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen. He is survived by one sister;Helen Rice Little;stepchildren;Prudence Jane Elliott of Monessen and Helen Richards of Washington;Pa.;and a sister-in-law;Ruby McCraw.
