Mr.Mullen graduated from Charleroi High School in 1972. He was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church;Charleroi;and the Charleroi Coin Club. He had worked at Consolidated Coal;Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he was a quality control inspector and also Genesis Packaging Systems. In addition to his parents;he is survived by two brothers;Robert E.Mullen of Bethel;Conn.;and Peter L.Mullen of New Fairfield;Conn.;two sisters;Mrs.David (Katheleen) Turney of Long Branch and Mrs.Duncan (Luanne) Hyslop of North Charleroi;and aunts;uncles;nieces and nephews. Harold W. Mac McKenna;83;of 722 Lewis Ave.;Speers Hill;died Monday;Feb.1;1993;at 8:50 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.McKenna was born April 6;1909;in Roscoe;a son of the late Nelson and Amelia Edwards McKenna. He was a graduate of Charleroi High School. Mr.McKenna had held the highest scoring football record at Charleroi High School for 63 years until it was broken in 1991. He retired in August;1973;from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation;where he was employed as an operator at the sub-station. Mr.McKenna had attended Grove City College. He was a lifelong resident of the Speers and Charleroi areas. Mr.McKenna was a member of the Speers United Methodist Church. He was a past president of the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club and was a former elder at the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. Mr.McKenna was a member of United Steel Workers of America Local Union No.1147. Surviving are his wife;Ann Frazier McKenna;two daughters;Barbara Brezinski of Beaverton;Ore.;and Patti McKenna of Coraopolis;two grandsons;Jason and Brian Brezinski;several nieces and nephews;and great-nieces and great-nephews. Two brothers;Leland and Claude McKenna;and one sister;Gertrude McKenna;are deceased. Mr.Malarbi retired in 1981 as a foreman for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He wa a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and the Franco-Belgium Club;both of Monessen. His wife;Edna L.Malarbi;died in 1978. Mr.Mastronicola was born Feb.24;1933;in Charleroi;a son of the late Luke and Violet Oliphant Mastronicola. Prior to retiring;he had been a barber for many years in Charleroi. Mr.Mastronicola was a U.S.Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Fallowfield Baptist Church. Mr.Mastronicola was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No.167 and American Legion Post No.22;both of Charleroi.
