Charles V.Reeves of 129 Dinsmore St.;Belle Vernon;died at 7:15 a.m.Thursday;Nov.29;1979;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. He was 81. Mr.Reeves was born in Bristoria;Greene County;on March 22;1898;a son of the late Charles Thomas and Nancy Chess Reeves. He was a Protestant by faith. Mr.Reeves was retired from the Monessen Southwestern Railroad at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife;Pearl Campbell Reeves;in 1973. Surviving are three daughters;Mrs.John (Myrna) Syplychak of Monongahela;Mrs.Ruth Hnot of Clarion;and Mrs.James (Linda) Davis of New York City;one sister;Mrs.Pearl Cook of Aliquippa;13 grandchildren;and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City after 7 p.m.Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m.Sunday;with the Rev.William Bailey of Free Methodist Church of Monongahela officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

George Radock;56;of 109 Dinsmore St.;Belle Vernon;service manager for Spesak Pontiac in Monongahela;died at 11 a.m.Monday;November 5;1979;in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was born in Fairhope;April 27;1923. He was a son of the late Nicholas and Pauline Radish Radock. A member of the St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church in Belle Vernon;he was a captain in operations of the Civil Air Patrol;31st Wing. Survivors include his wife Rita Fiorino Radock;a son;Martin Eugene Radock of Erie;five brothers;Michael Radock of Ann Arbor;Mich.;Stephen Radock of Baltimore;Charles Radock of Wexford;Joseph Radock of Belle Vernon and Richard Radock of Belle Vernon;and two sisters;Mrs.Norbert (Sophia) Cutter and Paulette Radock;both of Belle Vernon. She was born at Streater; Ill.
on Nov. 5;1897; the daughter of
the late Baptist Morrell and
Marie Joiry. She was a
member of the First United
Methodist Church; Belle Vernon; and a former member of
the Belle Vernon Women’s
Club.
Mrs. Robins attended public
school in Jeanette. She was
married for 54 years and is
survived by her husband;
Harold S. Robins. She was
preceded in death by three
brothers and two sisters.
Surviving besides her husband is one daughter; Mrs. Dr.
William Elaine Benedetti;
McKeesport; a sister; Mrs.
Okal (Edythe) Sprowls;
McKeesport; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby Funeral Home;
Belle Vernon; after 7 p.m. Thursday; and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
on Friday.
Service will be conducted at
10 a.m. Saturday at the
funeral home with the Rev.
Lee S. Binsel; pastor of the
First United Methodist
Church; officiating. Burial
will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
