Lena Steinmiller Reese;87;a former resident of Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Nov.2;1978 at 1 p.m. in the home of her dughter;Mrs.John (Dorothy) Adomaitis of Fallowfield Twp.;Charleroi R.D.1;with whom she resided. Mrs.Reese was born Jan.11;1891 in Connellsville;a daughter of the late Fred and Louise Bresoch Steinmiller. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;the Charleroi Golden Agers;and the Ladies Auxiliary of Fallowfield Twp. She was preceded in death by her husband;Ernest W.Reese Sr.in 1942 and by a son;Ernest W.Reese Jr.in 1931. Survivors include her daughter;Mrs.John (Dorothy) Adomaitis of Fallowfield Twp.;one grandson;John Reese Adomaitis;a student at Drexel University in Philadelphia;one sister;Mrs.Margaret Briggs of Charleroi;and several nieces and nephews in the Mon Valley. Friends were received today;Nov.4;1978;in the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.;the time of the service. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers;memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society;or the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Ed Melenyzer was the funeral director in charge.

Mary (Mayme) Riskey of 412 Wood St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Oct.18;1978; at 6:20 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospitl;Carroll Twp.  She was 88.  Born in Belle Vernon;Dec.13;1889;she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Brawley Smith. Mrs.Riskey was a former resident of Allenport;and had lived in Belle Vernon the last 15 years.  Mrs.Riskey was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;and the Belle Vernon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  Also;she was a Gold Star Mother.  She was preceded in death by her husband;Stephen Riskey;on Jan.19;1960. Mrs.Riskey is survived by a son;John Riskey of St.Petersburg;Fla.;two daughters;Mrs.John (Thelma) Cavanaugh;with whom she made her home;and Mrs.Margaret Bickerton;also of St.Petersburg;Fla.;five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home;with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser;pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs.Alice Rex of 305 Center St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;July 23;1978;at 2:40 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was 81. Born in Mt.Carmel;Pa.;on July 7;1897;she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Sutcliff White. She was a charter member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. Preceding her in death was her husband;Edward Rex;on June 29;1977. Survivors include one son;Edward C.of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Emily Brubaker of Belle Vernon and Ellen Williams of Elizabeth;four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City after 7 p.m.Monday and until 9:30 a.m.Wednesday. Services will be held at 11 a.m.Wednesday at the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;with the Rev.Kenneth Neiderhiser officiating. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Former Pricedale resident;Margaret P.Radich;of 40 Gleneida Ridge Rd.;Carmel;N.Y.;died Friday;June 16;1978;at 4 a.m.in the Putnam Community Hospital. She was 65. Born in Van Voorhis;April 15;1913;she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Klanduch Bartek. Mrs.Radich is survived by her husband;Richard Radich Sr.;two sons;Richard L.Radich Jr.;at home;and John P.Radich of Armonk;N.Y.;a daughter;Mrs.Nancy Poole of Tyrone;Pa.;four sisters;Mrs.Clinton (Mary) Buchanan of Pricedale;Mrs.Anna Tylka of Van Meter;Mrs.Catherine Baron of the state of California;and Miss Eleanor Bartek of Seattle;Wash.;and four grandchildren. A private interment will be held Tuesday;May 23;1978;at 11 a.m.in Belle Vernon Cemetery for Peter Roskovich;49;a former resident of Arnold City;Belle Vernon;who died on Saturday;May 19;1978;at 9 a.m.in St.Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.  Mr.Roskovich;a U.S.Army Korean War veteran;was living in New York City.  He was born July 5;1928 in Star Junction;a son of the late John and Eva Madulich Roskovich.  Survivors include four brothers;Frank Roskovich of Belle Vernon;George Roskovich of Hialeah;Fla.;John Roskovich of Fayette City R.D.and Charles Roskovich of Ft.Lauderdale;Fla.;and five sisters;Helen Stankovich;Mary Tokar and Anna Kudlac;all of Bentleyville;Eva Roskovich of Pittsburgh and Julia McKevitt of Fayette City R.D.  Arrangements and the private interment is being handled by the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City.
