Charleroi; he was the son of Andrew and Lorraine Richie Soltis
of Belle Vernon R.D.1.
Mr. Soltis was a carpenter by
trade; and had lived in Horsham
for the past two years.
He graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School.
His brother; Keith Soltis; died
in 1976.
In addition to his parents; he is
survived by two sisters; Mrs.
David (Lorryli) Caldwell and
Mrs. David (Denise) Mornack;
both of Belle Vernon R.D.I; and
one brother; Shawn Soltis of
Dale; Va.
Private family visitation will
be held Friday;July 7;1989; from 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon where private family services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.

John Say;70;formerly of Charleroi;died Saturday;June 3;1989;in the Northland Terrace Nursing Home;Columbus;Ohio. He was born March 9;1919;in North Charleroi. Mr.Say was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;Charleroi;and the Slovak and Russian clubs. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;and retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Anne;in 1978. Surviving are three sons;Michael Say of Gahanna;Ohio;Richard Say of Mt.Laurel;N.J.;and Nicholas Say of Tiffin;Ohio;three grandchildren;one brother;Frank Say of Monroeville;and two sisters;Mary Aglio of North Charleroi and Mrs.Francis (Julia) Weik of Charleroi. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Fr.John Rachko of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;Charleroi;officiating. Charles (Jeff) Smith;80;of 677 McKee Ave.;Monessen;died Saturday;May 20;1989;at his home. He was born in Charleroi March 9;1909;a son of the late Charles Edward and Elsie Ankrum Smith. Mr.Smith was a resident of Monessen for over 30 years;coming from Belle Vernon. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a first sergeant of the U.S.Army;serving in France;Germany and in the North African Theatre. Additionally he was a nursing assistant at Monongahela Hospital and was a self-employed cement finisher. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Marye L.Smith in 1981 and one sister;Ella Mae Carter. He is survived by is son;Jeffrey Smith of Monessen;two daughters;Leisa Smith of Monessen and Myrna Garry of Monessen and a devoted son-in-law;Claude Garry;and two grandchildren;Kelly Rae Garry and Kristen Yvonne Smith. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 9 p.m.at his reisedence at 677 McKee Ave.;Monessen. Services will be held from his residence on Tuesday at 11 a.m.with Rev.Wilbur Hubbard;pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Aniable and Candida Prioreschi
Giannini.
She was a member of St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church;
Monessen; and the Christian
Mothers and Rosary Altar Society of the church.
Mrs. Sabol operated Giannini
Distributing Co. in Monessen
during World War II.
In addition to her parents; she
was preceded in death by a
brother; Roland Giannini.
Survivors include her husband; John Sabol; one daughter;
Aurelie Sabol of Cleveland;
Ohio; two brothers; Baldo (Bud)
