Mr.Salvino had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 53 years. He was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. He retired in March 1967 from a supervisory position with Monessen Southwestern Railroad Company of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Monessen. He had worked 51 years at various positions with the steel company. served for 39 years in the chipping department.
