sisters; Mary Waite of Erie; Elizabeth Lanf of Fayette City;helen Shetterly of Streetsboro;Ohio;Mrs.Samuel (Catherine) Esper of Columbia Station;Ohio;and Mrs.John (Irene Kosanko Kruczek) Pallo of Stockdale;and three brothers;John;Stephen and Joseph Kosanki;all of Gillespie. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;George A.Protos;and her second husband;Thomas D.Smith. Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc.;Perryopolis;on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.;and Friday until 11 a.m.;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.Paul M.Ragle officiating. Ralph P.Stone;84;of 1220 Linn Dr.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;May 6;1996;at the Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born on Sept.14;1911 in Merrittstown;Pa.;a son of the late Edward H.and Nellie Morris Stone. Mr.Stone had been employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.for over 40 years;having retired as a shipper. He was also a member of the Pricedale Union Church;the former Charleroi Moose;where he had served as the last governor;M.A.R.S.and the Belle Vernon Moose Club. Survivors include his wife;Virginia D.Felgar Stone;one daughter and son-in-law;Carol and Dan Tomchay of North Charleroi;two sons and daughters-in-law;Ralph E.and Marilynne Stone of North Charleroi and Charles W.and Carol Merritt of Monessen;10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Jean Mohn and a brother;Edward Stone. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. George R.Sutherland;77;of 505 Charles St.;Speers Hill;died Friday;March 8;1996;at 6:02 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Speers Hill;June 10;1918;a son of the late Alexander and Sylvia E.Gaskill Sutherland. Mr.Sutherland was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Charleroi F&AM Lodge 615. A former mayor of Speers borough;he had served a four year term in the 1960s. He was a lifelong resident of Speers Hill and retired in 1958 from the former Esso Standard Oil Company. Mr.Sutherland was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife;Marion Marshall Sutherland;whom he married Feb.4;1942;one daughter;Mrs.Ronald (Barbara) Yuss of McMurray;two brothers;Jay Sutherland and Jack Sutherland;both of Speers Hill;three sisters;Doris Sutherland of Speers Hill;Mrs.Ronald (Adele) Rossi of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Ronald (Joyce) Danko of Monesen;and two grandchildren;Meredith and Allyson Yuss. and Mary Stankos Servial.
Mr. Servial was Catholic by
faith.
A veteran of World War II; he
had served with the U.S Army.
He is the last surviving member of his family. He is survived
by several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband;John Seykoski:one son;John Seykoski Jr.;four grandchildren;and two brothers;Michael (Jack) and Miles Kupirovich;both of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by one brother;Steve Kupirovich.
