Mrs.Ethel V.Acton of Allenport;died in the Washington hospital;died Friday;March 27;1959;at 1 a.m.  She was born in Hopwood;May 16;1882;the daughter of Richard and Laura Pratt Addison.  She is survived by her husband;Cornelius Acton;three sons;Fred A.Miller of Charleroi;Edward l.Miller of Baden;and Cornelius Acton;Jr.;of Charleroi;one brother;Charles Addison of Phoenix;Arizona;five grandchildren and two great-granchildren.  Friends will be received by the family at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield avenue;Charleroi;after 2 p.m.;Saturday;during visiting hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Services will be held there March 30;at 11 a.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold L.Schrock is the funeral director. 

Mrs.Addie Allen;59;died Saturday;May 24;1958;at 2:05 p.m.at her home;612 Ninth St.;Monessen. Mrs.Allen was a member of the Union Baptist Church;Monessen. Frank Adam;71;of 312 Wood street;California;died at 8:20 a.m.Monday;March 3;1958;in Brownsville Hospital;after a lengthy illness. Mr.Adam was born April 2;1886;in Hungary;a son of Mr.and Mrs.Joseph Adams. He was a member of the Daisytown Presbyterian Church;the Hungarian Beneficial Society;Walkertown;the William Penn Fraternal Association;Daisytown;the Hungarian Reform Federation;Daisytown;and Local 2399;UMWA;Richeyville. He came to the California area 48 years ago. He was a retired coal miner;last employed at Vesta 4 mine. His wife;Sophia;died in 1950. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Yolan Turda of Belle Vernon;a son;Tebor Adam of California and five grandchildren.

Ernest W.Astle;Jr.;of 1043 Meldon avenue;Donora;died in Monongahela Memorial Hospital;Wednesday;October 23;1957;at 7:50 a.m. He was a member of the Charleroi Eagles lodge;and was employed as an operator of a cut-off machine at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company. He is survived by his wife;Virginia Mendez Astle;two sons;Dale of Delaware and Thomas at home;two daughters;Gloria Jean and Dolores at home;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Ernest W.Astle of Stockdale;three brothers;Milton A.;Woodrow L.and Raymond J.of Stockdale;five sisters;Mrs.Bruno (Hazel) Bandini of Clairton;Mrs.Dale (Marian) Arthurs;Fayette City;Mrs.Florence Angelocci;Trenton;Michigan;Miss Doris A.Astle;Stockdale;and Mrs.Victor (Loma Jean) Benedetti;Charleroi;and two grandchildren.
