Mrs.Jennie Lehew;74;died suddenly at the home of her daughter;Mrs.Andrew Brazack;219 Frederick St.;Belle Vernon;Saturday;April 16;1960;at 8 a.m. Mrs.Lehew was born in Dennison;Ohio;Dec.13;1885;and was a life-long resident of Belle Vernon;moving there when a small child. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. Preceded in death in February;1950;by her husband;William Lehew;she is survived by one son;William C.Lehew;of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Andrew (Gene) Brazack;with whom she resided;and Mrs.George (Helen) Adams of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Clegg and Mrs.Belle Conaghan;both of Mt.Vernon;Ohio. Steel company; and was a member
of the Holy Ghost Greek Catholic
Church; (Byzantine Rite); and
a member of Local Union 1187;
Allenport.
He is survived by his wife;
Susan Erdely Lovas; three daughters;Mrs.Walter (Bertha) Beck of Charleroi;Mrs.George (Lillian) Prescott of Rialto;California;formerly of Fairhope;and Mrs.Raymond (Sarah) Stein of Monessen;one brother;Steve Lovas of Belle Vernon;eight grandsons and three granddaughters. Friends will be received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Brief prayer there Thursday;January 14;at 9 a.m.;will be followed at 9:30 a.m.by Requiem High Mass at the Holy Ghost Greek Catholic Church.
