Anna was a member of St.John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Perryopolis and its Altar Society. Survivors include a daughter;Miss Shirley A.Matway of Perryopolis;two grandsons;two great-granddaughters;three sisters;Mrs.Sue Beeler of Arnold City;Betty of Fairhope and Helen of Lynnwood. In addition to her parents;She was preceded in death by her husband;Stephen Matway;and two sons;Bernard Matway and Joseph Matway. Born Aug.16;1919;in Belle Vernon;she was a daughter of the late John C.and Lucretia Green Kuhn Sr. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;she was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church. She had worked in maintenance for over 20 years for the former Bell Telephone Company in Charleroi and Belle Vernon. Catherine I.Barron;92;of Belle Vernon and Rostraver Township area;died Friday;Feb.23;2001;in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept.30;1908;in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Mary Pivarnik. She was a graduate of St.Mary Nazareth Hospital School of Nursing and served as superintendent of its nursery. She and her late husband;George Barron;owned and operated Barron Holiday Motel in Rostraver Township for many years until their retirement. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents and her husband;she was preceded in death by a sister;Mary Masika;and three brothers;Michael;Thomas and Andrew Pivarnik. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A Funeral Mass was held Monday;Feb.26;at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;with burial following in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
