John Moravek of 620 George street;Coraopolis;formerly of Charleroi;died Monday March 23;1953;at 3:30 a.m.in the Sewickley Valley Hospital. Mr.Moravek had operated a grocery store in Charleroi for thirty years and for twenty-three years had been a grocer in Coraopolis. He retired in 1947. He was born in Czechoslovakia May 5;1884;and was a member of the Lutheran Church of Coraopolis. He is survived by his wife;Susan;one daughter;Matilda at home and one brother;Paul of Fayette City. Friends will be received at the Russell Troxell Funeral Home;Coraopolis;where services will be held Tuesdsay evening;March 24;1953;at 7:30 o’clock. The body will be brought to Fayette City;and friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home after 11 a.m.on Wednesday.
