Myrtle L.Lear;formerly of Monessen;died Friday;April 4;1975;at 6 p.m.in Rose Nursing Home;Cleveland Heights;Ohio. She was 94. Mrs.Lear had resided in Cleveland Heights. She was born April 14;1880 in Belle Vernon. Mrs.Lear and her late husband;William H.Lear;had resided on Delaware St.in Monessen for many years. They moved to St.Petersburg;Fla.;upon Mr.Lear’s retirement as an engineer on the Monessen Southwestern Railroad. Mrs.Lear was a former member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen. In addition to her husband;she was preceded in death by two sons;Clyde and Raymond. Suriving are one son;Earl of Cleveland Heights;Ohio;two grandsons;william H.Lear of Riverside;Calif.;and George P.Lear of Somerset;Pa.;and three great-grandchildren in Riverside;Calif. Private burial will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
