Roy Myrtle;aged 67 years;died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Allenport at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning;September;17;1956. Mr.Myrtle was a retired cooling table inspector at the Pilger Hot Mill in Allenport. He was born in Clarion;Pa.in 1889. Survivors include his wife;Mrs.Alta Mae (Shockley) Myrtle;a son;Lawrence of Stroall Acres;Allenport;a daughter;Mrs.Jack (Elsie) Todd of Stroall Acres and a brother;William Myrtle of Allenport. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;from 1 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m.beginning Monday evening at 7 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday;September 19;1956;at 2 p.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
