John Mazade of 1115 Madison avenue;Chicago;Illinois;died on Thursday;June 17;1954;in Chicago after a short illness. He was born in Bessage;France;February 18;1901;and came to Charleroi in 1913. He was a World War I veteren having served in the U.S.Army. He was a railroad employee. Surviving are his mother;Mrs.Rosalie Mazade of North Charleroi;five brothers;Auguste;Gaston;Maurice;Andre;all of Detroit;Michigan and Louis of Houston;Texas;and one sister;Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Thiry;of North Charleroi;Pa.

Mrs.Hattie McLaughlin;nee Mitchell;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;R.D.3;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Tuesday;April 20;1954;at 7:20 p.m. She was born in Fayette City;September 8;1892;and was a member of the Marion Presbyterain church;Fairhope;and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Township Fire Department. She is survived by her husband;Archie Mclaughlin;one son;Osborne of Glenn Head;Long Island;New York;one daughter;Mrs.Edward (Berneile) Bartow of Lindenhurst;Long Island;one brother;Curtis Mitchell of Donora;a sister;Mrs.Ida Johnson of Tampa;Florida;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Saturday;April 24;1954;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.George Guest of the Marion Prebyterian Church. Earl S. McCreary;aged 43 years;of Arnold City;died Monday March 29;1954;as a result of a car accident in which the car he was a passanger in a car driven by Joseph Grunwald plunged off the Charleroi-Monessen bridge;dropping 60 feet to a North Charleroi street.  Surviving are his second wife;Mrs.Bernice Gogosky McCreary;three children by a previous marriage;Beverly; Doria and Peggy;all of Cleveland;Ohio;children;Earjene;Earl Jr.;Dale and Barry;all at home;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Lee N.McCreary;of North Belle Vernon;and a sister;Mrs.Calvin (Mabel) Schwab;of West Side;West Newton.  Friends will be received at the home of his parents;1115 Hill street;North Belle Vernon after 7 p.m.March 30;where funeral services will be held Friday;April 2;1954;at 2 p.m.  Rev.Alva Jordan;pastor of St.Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Joseph R.Check;funeral director.

William (Bud) MaDonald of 207 Main street;Belle Vernon;died suddenly of a heart attack at the Irvin Works;Clairton;this morning;Wednesday;February 10;1954;at 7:15 a.m. He is survived by his mother;Mrs.Bertha MacDonald;and two brothers;Thomas of Brownsville and Robert MacDonald of Tulsa;Oklahoma.
