He was a retired postal dispatcher of the Monessen Post Office where he worked for 30 years and was a resident of Monessen for 23 years before moving to Belle Vernon in 1945. He was a member of St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Laura L.Manewal McCreary;and one daughter;Mrs.Calvin (Mabel) Schwab;of West Newton and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons;Harold and Earl. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Thursday;February 7;1957 at 3:15 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Paul Trout.
