Mrs.Ray was born in France and came to North Charleroi in 1919;where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a member of the St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Preceded in death by her husband;Adrian on Sept.4;1957;she is survived by a son;Louis;Monessen;four grandchildren;one great-grandchild and her mother;Mrs.Justine Ray;North Charleroi. Also surviving are three brothers;Marion;Joseph and Sam Ray;North Charleroi and six sisters;Mrs.Charles (Mary) Tulle;North Charleroi;Mrs.James (Victoria) Banes;Charleroi;R.D.;Augustine Ray;Ford City;Mrs.Joseph (Blanche) Pensis;Stockdale;Mrs.Andrew (Jean) Sepesky;Monessen and Mrs.Baptist (Margaret) Angioletti;Monongahela. Friends are bring received at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home;Charleroi;from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday;Oct.16 at 9:30 a.m.from the funeral home;with additional services to follow at 10 from the St.Sebastian R.C.Church. The Very Rev.Henry Hanse will officiate at Requiem High Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome;Monessen;funeral director.

Adrian (Buck) Ray;63;of Gibson;died after a lenghy illness in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Wednesday;Sept.4;1957;at 11:45 a.m. He was born on April 23;1894;in McDonald;Pa. He had been employed at the Monessen Works of Pittsburgh Steel Co.;and was a member of the Lock Four Volunteer Firemen. His wife;Rose;survives him with one son;Lewis Ray;a brother;George Ray;of Bulger;a sister;Mrs.Mary Sutherland;of Avella;four grandchildren;and one great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Melinchak Funeral Home in Charleroi during the hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.until Saturday;Sept.7;at 10 a.m.;when the remains will be taken to St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church in Belle Vernon for Requiem Mass sung by Rev.Henry Hanse. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
