Hospital.
Mr. Trader retired in 1965
from the Monessen plant of
Pittsburgh Steel Co.
He was a member of Marion
Presbyterian Church in Fairhope; Fraternal Order of Eagles; Charleroi Aerie; Fairhope
Rod and Gun Club and Washington Twp. Volunteer Fire
Department; of which he was a
charter member.
Surviving are a daughter;
Mrs. Joseph (Frances) Oliver
of Fairhope: two sons; Thomas
O. of Bentleyville and Herman
C. of Fayette City and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home; Belle
Vernon; after 7 p.m.Monday;Feb.12;1968 and thereafter from 2
to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. service there Wednesday;Feb.14;1968;at 2 p.m. with the Rev.John McLeister;pastor of Fayette City’s Methodist Church;officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.

John Tordi; 55; of 742 Washington Road; Belle Vernon; died
at his home Friday;Jan.26;1968 at 1:15
p.m.
He was born in Pricedale
April 26; 1912; and resided in
the Belle Vernon area his entire life. An Army veteran of
World War II; he was a member of Belle Vernon Post 659;
American Legion.
He was self – employed as a
carpenter.
He is survived by his widow;
Irene Yager Tordi; one son;
Randall at home; two daughters; Mrs. William (Patricia)
Kusmirak of Lynnwood and
Joan Tordi at home; one brother; William Tordi of Hubbard;
Ohio; a sister; Mrs. John Klanchar of Belle Vernon; and one
grandson.
Friends will be received at
the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home; Belle Vernon; after 7 p.m. Saturday. Services will be held in the funeral home on Monday;Jan.29;1968. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Sheridan Theakston;35;of 929 Washington Road;Belle Vernon;was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;Saturday;Jan.13;1968;as the result of an accident on Interstate 70 in North Belle Vernon Borough about 5:40 a.m. Mr.Theakston was a regular employee at the Allenport Works of Pittsburgh Steel Co.and was a part-time bartender at Paddy’s Lounge located at Allen’s Crossroads in Rostraver Twp. He was a graduate of Marion High School. He was an Army veteran. He is survived by his widow Patty Malec Theakston. He was the father of five children;Marilyn;13;Cheryl Ann;10;Robert;5;Russell;4;and Rodney;3. Also surviving are his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Deems Theakston;Fayette City;two brothers;Harry of Fayette City and Russell of Rockville;Mass.;and a sister;Janice;at home. He was a nephew of Mr.and Mrs.Frances Crum of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayettte City.
