Mrs.Charlotte Gough;78;314 Grant street;Belle Vernon;died Friday morning Dec.18;1942;at 9:30 a.m.at her late residence;following a short illness. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Alice Schmidt;Belle Vernon and Mrs.John Carrol;Hooker;Pa.;two sons;James W.Gough;Ralph;Pa.and Sylvester Gough;at home;13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;until Sunday;Dec.20;when funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m.from the funeral home in charge of Rev.Edwin G.Sloan;of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs.Anna Elizabeth Garren;aged 78 years;formerly of Belle Vernon;died in the home of her daughter;Mrs.Frank Carper at Robin’s Station;Pa;at 8:55 p.m.on Saturday;May 23;1942. Until a few years ago she had lived in Belle Vernon but later went to Robin’s Statin to make her home with her daughter. She was born May 10;1864. Deceased was a member of the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Carper and Mrs.Theresa Gilmore;of 204 Wood street;Belle Vernon;and two sisters;Miss Mary Dowling;708 Grant street;Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Sarah Miner;of Lysinger. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. The remains are at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where friends will be received until time for funeral services at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning;May 27 in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. George L.Graul;aged 74 years;died Friday;December 26;1941 at 8:30 p.m.at the home of his sister;Mrs.John Whisler;in Anderson;Indiana. Suffering a heart attack on December first;Mr.Graul lingered until Friday. Residents of Monessen since the pioneer days;Mr.and Mrs.Graul resided in a home at Second and Schoonmaker for many years. Following the death of Mrs.Graul about ten years ago;Mr.Graul resided at the home for a time;later disposing of his interests here and leaving for Anderson;to reside with his sister. He visited last summer with friends here. Mr.Gaul was a bricklayer by trade and worked on the erection of many of the first buildings in the city. He was a member of the Turn Verem and a former member of the Masonic Blue Lodge. The body was brought to Belle Vernon last evening and taken to the Melenyzer Funeral Home;where services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon;with Rev.P.E.Mundy;pastor of the Baptist Church;officiating. Interment followed in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Josephine Guzzi;aged 35 years;wife of Tony Guzzi;of 710 Grant St.;Belle Vernon;died at Cresson;Pa.;Tuesday;November;11;1941 after a lingering illness. Mrs.Guzzi leaves her husband;two daughters;Carolina and Mary Ann;one son Dominick;her parents;Mr.and Mrs.Tony Coletti;all of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Leona Lavenia;of Jeannette;and three brothers;Ernest;Albert and Americo;all of Belle Vernon. The remains are at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon;where friends are being received and funeral services will be held Thrusday;November 13;at 2:30 p.m.in charge of Rev.Gregory Paonessa;pastor of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church of Charleroi. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Mrs.Mary Gidick;aged 56 years;died at her home in 18 Main street;Belle Vernon;at 8:20 p.m. Friday;October 10;1941 after a lingering illness. Mrs.Gidick leaves the following sons and daughters;Charles of Belle Vernon;George of Charleroi;Peter of Boston;Mass.;Mrs.John Kurpiel of Monessen;John;Frank;Steve;Michael;Evelyn and Sophia at home. The remains are reposing at the Melenyzer Funeral Home;where friends will be recieved and funeral services held Monday afternoon;October 13;at 2 o’clock in charge of Rev.G.J.Chegin. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are funeral directors.
