She is survived by four nieces;Mrs.Ellis Marshall of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Earl F.Willson also of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Harry Steinman of Washington;Pa.;and Mrs.J.W.Ely of Mercer;and one nephew;Karl E.Guiler of New York. Mrs.Anna Elizabeth Garren;aged 78 years;formerly of Belle Vernon;died in the home of her daughter;Mrs.Frank Carper at Robin’s Station;Pa;at 8:55 p.m.on Saturday;May 23;1942. Until a few years ago she had lived in Belle Vernon but later went to Robin’s Statin to make her home with her daughter. She was born May 10;1864. Deceased was a member of the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Carper and Mrs.Theresa Gilmore;of 204 Wood street;Belle Vernon;and two sisters;Miss Mary Dowling;708 Grant street;Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Sarah Miner;of Lysinger. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. The remains are at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where friends will be received until time for funeral services at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning;May 27 in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. George L.Graul;aged 74 years;died Friday;December 26;1941 at 8:30 p.m.at the home of his sister;Mrs.John Whisler;in Anderson;Indiana. Suffering a heart attack on December first;Mr.Graul lingered until Friday. Residents of Monessen since the pioneer days;Mr.and Mrs.Graul resided in a home at Second and Schoonmaker for many years. Following the death of Mrs.Graul about ten years ago;Mr.Graul resided at the home for a time;later disposing of his interests here and leaving for Anderson;to reside with his sister. He visited last summer with friends here. Mr.Gaul was a bricklayer by trade and worked on the erection of many of the first buildings in the city. He was a member of the Turn Verem and a former member of the Masonic Blue Lodge. The body was brought to Belle Vernon last evening and taken to the Melenyzer Funeral Home;where services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon;with Rev.P.E.Mundy;pastor of the Baptist Church;officiating. Interment followed in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
