Surviving are her husband; two
step-daughters; Mrs. Emma Cappeili
and Lena Garofola; her parents;
Mr. and Mrs. Greco Fortasio in Italy
and three sisters; also in Italy.
Funeral services will be held on
Saturday morning;March 16;1940; at 9 o’clock from St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be
in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

John Gray;aged 83 years;died Monday;February 5;1940;at his home;315 Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;following a lingering illness. He had resided in Belle Vernon for over 63 years. He was a member of the I.O.O.F.lodge and the Royal Arcanium;and for 14 years was assistant warden at the Westmoreland county jail in Greensburg. Surviving is his wife;Mrs.Joanna Lynn Gray;one daughter;Mrs.Nellie Clark;of Etna;Pa.;two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday;February 8;1940; at the home with Rev.P.E.Mundy;pastor of the Christian Church and G.Meade Daugherty;pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

One of the district’s oldest residents;Biaso A.Giordanelli;aged 96 years;died at his home in 114 Vine street;Belle Vernon;Wednesday;August 16;1939;at 10:45 p.m.following an illness of one week. He leaves two daughters;Mrs.Mary Costello of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Katherine Trunzo of New Eagle;one son;Frank Giordanelli of Colorado;twenty-four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home until 2:30 the afternoon of Friday;August 18;when services will be held;the Rev.G.Meade Daugherty officiating.
