Word has been received here announcing the death Friday;July 3;1931;of James Gailey Jr.;a former resident of this city (Monessen);but now located at Buena Vista. He was stricken ill suddenly with an attack of appendicitis and was rushed to the McKeesport hospital where he died a few hours later. He is survived by a wife and children and his parents. Funeral services were held this afternoon;Monday July 6;1931 from the home in Buena Vista with interment following in the Belle Vernon cemetery.

Mrs.Mary Popp Graul;wife of George W.Graul;died Saturday afternoon;May 30;1931;at 1:30 o’clock in the family home;Second and Schoonmaker avenue;of complications. Mrs.Graul had been ailing for the past two months. Surviving are her husband;one sister;Mrs.John Ross;of this city and a brother;John Popp of Iron City. The family have been residents of this city since pioneer days. Funeral services were held from the home this afternoon at 2 o’clock;conducted by Rev.J.R.McFarland;of the Presbyrterian Church;of which the deceased was a member. Interment made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
