Michael Kelly;aged 79 years;died at his late home in Rostraver Township at twelve o’clock Monday night;Dec.8;1941;after an illness of one year. Surviving are his wife;Mrs.Josephine Kelly;one daughter;Mrs.Grace Lynn of Belle Vernon;four sons;Fred of Pricedale;Henry and Thomas;of Calif.;and Edward of Belle Vernon;and one brother of Pricedale.The remains are at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon;December 11;1941;at 2:30 o’clock in charge of Rev.Percy Mundy;pastor of the Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. While working in her garden at 1215 Meadow avenue;Mrs.Julia Kachala died suddenly at 8:30 o’clock Wednesday morning;July 16;1941 reportedly of a heart attack. Born in Czechoslovakia;Feb.26;1874;she had been a resident of this section for 44 years;settling first in the Roscoe area. She was aged 67 years. She was a member of Sts.Cyril and Methodoius R.C.Church of Charleroi and of the National Slovak Society. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Mary Petrak;of Charleroi;and two sons;Joseph Kachala;of Charleroi;and William at home. Four grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the home where brief services at 8:10 a.m. Saturday morning;July 19;will be followed by Requiem High Mass in Saints Cyril and Methodius Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon cemetery. Francis C.Slezak is the funeral director.

Charles A.King.aged 68 years;a watchman on a river boat;died suddenly at his home;214 Wood street;Belle Vernon;Thursday morning;Nov.28;1940. Death was attributed to a heart attck. He was found lying on the bedroom floor about 3 o’clock. His wife survives him. He had not been ill reports indicated. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon;until two o’clock Saturday afternoon;Nov.30;when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.Percy Mundy;pastor of the Belle Vernon Baptist Church.
