He is survived by his wife;Mary Kovatch;three daughters;Mary Popelas of New York City;Ann Banjor of Fayette City;and Eliabeth Hamilton of Pittsburgh;three sons;Stephem;stationed in Rhode Island;with the U.S.Navy;John of Fayette City;and Andrew of McKeesport. Five grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late home. Martin J.Krizan;aged 62 years;died at his home;381 Ella Street;North Belle Vernon;Pa.;on Friday;March 17;1944 at 12:45 a.m.after a lingering illness. He was an employee of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. Mr.Krizan belonged to the Slovak Lodge No.387 of Charleroi and the Citizens Association Russian Club of Pricedale. Surviving are his wife Mary;and four daughters;Mrs.Mary Weight and Mrs.Helen Hoffman of Detroit;Mrs.Margaret Williams of Allenport and Miss Pauline Krizan at home. One grandchild also survives. Miss Jessie Olive Kennedy died at the home of her sister;Mrs.V.G.Savage in Rutherford;New Jersey;Monday;July 5;1943;at 2 a.m. Miss Kennedy was a former resident of Belle Vernon and for many years was employed in the offices of the Page Steel Mill in Monessen. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by three brothers;Thomas of Lynnhurst;New Jersey;James;of the Merchant Marines and Dan Kennedy of Belle Vernon;and three sisters;Mrs.V.G.Savage and Mrs.E.Pegleary of Rutherford and Mrs.Emma Hartley of Washington;D.C.
