He was found lying on the bedroom floor about 3 o’clock. His wife survives him. He had not been ill reports indicated. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon;until two o’clock Saturday afternoon;Nov.30;when funeral services will be held in charge of Rev.Percy Mundy;pastor of the Belle Vernon Baptist Church. A sudden heart attack early Friday morning;May 10;1940;is believed to have caused the death of Mrs.Catherine Katisky;aged 44;who was found dead in her bed by members of her family. It is thought that the fatal attack occurred about 5 a.m.at her home in Belle Vernon. Mrs.Katinsky;a native of Austria;leaves her husband;Joseph;five daughters;Mrs.Anthony Lewis of Monongahela R.D.2;Mrs John BaziIewich of Belle Vernon R.D.1;Stella;Olga and Josephine at home and two sons Michael of Cleveland and Peter at home. Friends will be received at the late home until 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Services will be held on Sunday at the Russian Orthodox Church in Charleroi at 3:30 o’clock. Mrs.Minnie Kennedy;77;who had been making her home with a daughter;Mrs.Lillie Natola;at Fayette City;died Monday Feb.26;1940;in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was a former resident of Pittsburgh. Seven of her 11 children survive. There are also two sisters;two brothers;24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon;Feb.29;1940. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
