Miss Jessie Olive Kennedy died at the home of her sister;Mrs.V.G.Savage in Rutherford;New Jersey;Monday;July 5;1943;at 2 a.m. Miss Kennedy was a former resident of Belle Vernon and for many years was employed in the offices of the Page Steel Mill in Monessen. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by three brothers;Thomas of Lynnhurst;New Jersey;James;of the Merchant Marines and Dan Kennedy of Belle Vernon;and three sisters;Mrs.V.G.Savage and Mrs.E.Pegleary of Rutherford and Mrs.Emma Hartley of Washington;D.C. The remains will arrive in Pittsburgh Wednesday;July 7;1943 at 8:25 a.m. and will be taken to the Melenyzer funeral Home;from where interment will be made at once in the Belle Vernon cemetery.
