Mrs. Cora Reeves Springer of 209 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;December 13;1942. She was a daughter of the late Capt.S.and Catherine Reeves. Surviving are four daughters;Mrs.William S.(Clara)Jones of Belle Vernon;Miss Grayce Springer at home;Mrs.Kenneth ( Helen S.) Russell of Holyoke;Mass.;and Mrs.William S.(Sara)Jeffries of State College;a daughter-in-law;Mrs.Joseph Springer of Belle Vernon and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband;Robert D.Springer. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon until Tuesday;December 15;1942;when funeral services will be held in charge of the pastor from the Methodist Church of which Mrs.Springer was a member. Frank Spina;aged 60 years;died at his home;309 Water street;Belle Vernon;at 11:50 a.m.Tuesday;August 25;1942;following a lingering illness. The deceased had been a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 18 years. He was employed at the Page Steel & Wire company. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Constance Spina;and a sister;Mrs.Rose Loria. Remains are at the late home where friends will be received until time for funeral services at 9 o’clock Saturday morning;August 29 in St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon.
