Alex Sondak;age 64 years;formerly of Belle Vernon;died at the home of his daughter;Mrs.Ann Mongeluzo of Donora on Wednesday;March 29;1944;at 8:25 p.m.after an illness of five months. He is survived by three daughters;Mrs.Mary Dinnini of Jeannette;Mrs.Ann Mongeluzo of Donora and Mrs.Jane Farilli;also of Donora;and five sons;Mike;John and Metro Semercznak of Belle Vernon;Joseph Smerecznak of Elizabeth and Pfc.William Semercznak of Camp McKean. Also surviving are eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home and services will be held in the Greek Orthodox Catholic Church in Monessen on Sunday;April 2;1944;at 2 p.m. Father Theodore Gezza will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
