Mrs.Mary Sabolek (nee Ruzie);age 57 years;of Fayette City;R.D.1;died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Tuesday;March 13;1945;at 7:55 p.m. She was born in Austria-Hungary;in October of 1887;and was a member of St. Edward’s Church; Fayette City. She is survived by her husband;George Sabolek;four sons;Stephen of Donora;Joseph;Nicholas and Thomas of Fayette City;R.D.and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Friday;March 16;1945;at 4 p.m.;in charge of Rev. J.P. Sedlak. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.

Henry Staff; aged 80 years;
died Wednesday; September 13;1944;
at 7 p. m.; at his home; 328 Market street; Belle Vernon; following an illness of eleven months.
Mr. Staff was a member of the
Presbyterian Church and had been
in the employ of the American
Window Glass company for a
period of 20 years.
Survivors are a son and daughter; Mrs. Jane Hamilton and Thomas Staff; both of Belle Vernon.
Seventeen grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren also survive.
Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home where services will be held Sunday afternoon;September 17;1944;at 2 o’clock with Rev.George Kress of the Presbyterian Church officiating.
