A former Belle Vernon man;father of two children;was killed last Sunday morning;November 26;1950;at 5:30 a.m.when he was struck by two autos as he stepped off the curb near his Brooklyn;N.Y.home on his way to work. He is Albert M.Sherield;who until several years ago resided at the home of his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Solomon Sherield;at 515 Main street;Belle Vernon. According to reports;Mr.Sherield was on his way to work when he stepped off the curb and was struck by an suto. Immediately after he was struck by the first car;another car ran over him. He was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School and served two and one-half years as a staff sergeant in an anti-aircraft unit in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife;Thresa;formerly of Donora;two sons;Dwayne;aged 3 and Timothy;aged 1;and his parents. Friends will be received Friday;Dec.1;1950;at the home of his parents and funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.from the Speer Street A.M.E.Church in Belle Vernon. The Rev.C.F.Bryant will be in charge. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
