Born March 3; 1923; in Forward Township; he was a son of the late Natale and Virginia Machione DeRosa. He was a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 13 years and retired from Liggett Spring and Axle Co.; Forward Township; where he worked as a lead man. Mr. DeRosa is survived by his wife; Phyllis McKeta DeRosa; to whom he was married 45 years; one daughter and son-in-law; Debra and Ronald Sevcik of Belle Vernon; one granddaughter; Brandy Robertson and husband Branden of Belle Vernon; one great-granddaughter; Brittany Robertson; one brother and sister-in-law; John and Marlene DeRosa of New Eagle; and one sister; Jane DiBiasi of Donora. Olga M. Lori Agamedi; 95; of Carroll Township; died at 9 p.m. Tuesday; Aug. 20; 2002; at Residence at Hilltop in Carroll Township. Born Aug. 6; 1907; in Belle Vernon; she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Palmira Giovanni Lori. Mrs. Agamedi was a resident of Carroll Township for the past five years; having previously resided in Charleroi and Belle Vernon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and retired as a secretary from the former Fox Grocery in Charleroi and Rostraver Township. Mrs. Agamedi was a longtime volunteer at Mon Valley Hospital and a member of the Annita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. The last surviving member of her immediate family; she is survived by one niece; Doris Azevedo; and five nephews; J. Robert; Donald and Daniel Ondulick; and Charles and James Lori. Mrs. Agamedi was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Agamedi; in July 1960; three sisters; Milthia Flora; Agnes Ondulick and Dorothy Lori; and two brothers; Attilio and Bruno Lori. Born July 7; 1917; in Pricedale; he was a son of the late John and Mary Ferta1 Kerekes. Mr. Kerekes was a longtime resident of Rostraver Township. He attended St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and was retired from Mathies Coal Mine; where he worked as a roof bolter. Mr. Kerekes was a veteran of World War II; where he served in the U.S. Army Air Force; and was a member of the Hungarian Club of Pricedale. LaVerne McCrory; 70 of Allenport; died Friday; Aug. 16; 2002; in Justine’s personal Care Home in Allenport. She was born Aug. 13; 1923; a daughter of the late Julius and Bertha Geiser Burry. She was educated in the Allenport Public Schools and graduated from Charleroi High School in 1941. She received her registered nurse certification from the Allegheny General School of Nursing in 1945. She served as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of the U.S. Air Force during World War II. She served at army bases in Richmond; Va. And at Seymour Johnson base in North Dakota. Following the war; she worked on the second surgical floor of the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church; Mon Valley Nurses Association; and the Yough-A-Mon camping club. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother; Edgar Burry of Allenport.
