Joan grew up in Donora and was a graduate of Donora High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and had previously worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation at their coke plant in Monessen. Frances M. Colvin; 93; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Thursday; Jan.14; 2010; in Easy Living Estates of Hunker. A daughter of the late Charles and Lillian McClain Wallace; she was born in Monongahela on Sept. 19; 1916. She was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and had volunteered for over 20 years at the Westmoreland County Food Bank until 2008. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 57 years; she will be loved and remembered by many friends and relatives. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Kenton R. and Madeline Nescot Colvin of Morgantown; W.Va.; and Jan and Janet Colvin of Winston-Salem; N.C.; three grandchildren; Kevin R. He was born Sept. 19; 1933; in Fayette City; a son of the late Willard and Lavina Lindey Jones. He served in the Navy. Robert was a member of South Greensburg United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement; he worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Allenport. His memberships included the AMS Club of South Greensburg; the Hempfield Township Roosevelt Club; the Hannastown Social Club; the Crabtree Social Club; the American Legion Post 981 of South Greensburg; the Youngwood Moose No. 23; the South Greensburg Hunt Club; the Hempfield Hunt Club of New Stanton; the Allenport Rod and Gun Club; the Keystone Rod and Gun Club in Hannastown and the FO Eagles Aerie 983 of Brookville.
