Zeta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; of Belle Vernon; the Joy Bells Handbell Choir and the H.O.A. of her church. She had lived most of her adult life in Belle Vernon and was a member and past president of the Board of Directors of the Belle Vernon Public Library. A son of the late John Joseph and Anna Palfrey Morgan; he was born March 7; 1929; in North Charleroi. Bill was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. He was member of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon; where he served as an elder; was a charter member of the Joy Bells and sang in the Chancel Choir. Bill was a member of the F AM Tri-County Lodge 252 and was a member of the Board of Directors at Belle Vernon Cemetery; where he served as past treasurer. He was a retired steward from Nemacolin County Club; a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; a life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department and Belle Vernon American Legion Post No. 659. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 60 years; Mrs. Fabian was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and a homemaker. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Civic Club; the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Court Belle Vernon 1522; and the former Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Fabian was an avid bridge player and enjoyed traveling. Minnie Lee Yarbrough; 93; a long-time resident of North Belle Vernon; went to her eternal rest with the Lord on Wednesday; Jan. 9; 2008. Born June 21; 1914; in Bessemer; Ala.; she was the daughter of the late Mackie and Joe Williams. Ms. Minnie; as she was affectionately called; was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church; where she served as president of the Nurses Board and was in charge of the Kitchen Committee for many years. She worked for several years at the Mon Valley Health Center as a receptionist. Ms. Minnie had a ministry of her own making – she would send cards for all occasions and make telephone calls to all her acquaintances. This was a large part of her life. Left to celebrate her life are her three sons; Walter Nelson of Veradale; Wash.; Ernest Robert Nelson; of Durham; N.C.; and Lindsey Pete Yarbrough; of Belle Vernon; one sister; Ruth Hopsons; of Birmingham; Ala.; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
