Eva Widmer; 79; of Belle Vernon went to be with the Lord on Wednesday; January 6; 2010 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late David William and Ruth Smail Spencer; she was born in Monongahela on November 17; 1930. Eva was an avid baker and was generous to her family and friends. A licensed minister; she had services in her home for the past seven years. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Lois and Sam Henry of New Eagle and Valerie Vance of Finleyville; three sons and daughters-in-law; Randolf and Suzanne Widmer of Donora; Dennis and Diane Widmer of Belle Vernon and John and Georgette Widmer of McKeesport; one sister; Margaret Kerr of Monongahela; her spiritual daughter; Patty Carlock of Monessen; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Mr. Comadena was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant; with 35 years of service in the hot mill and billet yard. He was a member of the REAP Bowling League.
