Grace E. Mayernik; 8l; of Charleroi; died Monday; Nov. 10; 2008; in her home. She was born Aug. 1; 1927; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late Odilon and Margaret (Palfrey) Rodier. Grace was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Charleroi. She is survived by her son; Scott Mayernik; of Charleroi; three grandchildren; John; Rachel and Rebecca Mayernik; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Albert P. Mayernik; in 2004; a brother; James Rodier; and a sister; Kathryn Bruce. Friends will be received in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi; (www.schrock-hogan.com); on Thursday; Nov. 13; from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; followed by a funeral service at 1:15 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers; the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
