Anna Williams; 96; of Rostraver Township; went to be with the Lord Sunday; March 24; 2013; in Nevaeh Cove Personal Care Home. A daughter of the late Vasil and Anna Chornack Krivjanik; she was born in Monessen Jan. 19; 1917. Protestant by faith; she had resided most of her adult life in Rostraver. Anna loved crocheting and was formerly employed by Johnson’s Restaurant in Monessen; had been a beautician at the former Fusters Beauty Shop; taught at the PBA Beauty School and retired after teaching cosmetology at the Mon Valley Vocational Technical School. Survivors include seven grandchildren and their spouses; Rhonda and Chuck House of Rostraver Township; Robert and Linda Waggoner of Fallowfield Township; Rick and Missy Waggoner of Sutersville; Raina Roberts of Charleroi; Resee and Michael Bick of Red Lion; William E. Williams III of Fayette City and Wendy Williams of Alexandria; Va.; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; William Edward Williams in 1975; one daughter; Roberta Anne Waggoner in 1990; one son; William E. Williams Jr. and her siblings; George; John; Michael; William; Mary Savage and Helen Sivak. Nadine T. Ross; 61; of Monessen; went to be with our Lord on Wednesday; June 4; 2008; at Mon Valley Hospital. Born on Dec. 25; 1946; in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late William and Zadine Bronson. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by two brothers; John J. Bronson Sr. and Russell Bronson Sr.; one sister; Emma Lee Jackson; one brother-in-law; John Jackson; one sister-in-law; Lillian Bronson; two nephews; Daryle Jeffries and Vince Jackson; and a great nephew; Jeremy Bronson. Nadine was a lifelong resident of Monessen. Nadine retired from Corning Glass in Charleroi. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen; where she served on the usher and missionary boards and was a former member of the Elite Temple #428; where she held the office of treasurer. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years; Delaware Ross; one son; DelRoy (Carla) Ross of Virginia; one daughter; Dionne Ross of Monessen; three sisters; Cleo Whitlock; Jessie Grant and Noryne (Major) Corley all of Monessen; two brothers; William and Sylvester Bronson; both of Monessen; a devoted family member; Donald (Donna) Payne Sr. of Monessen; three granddaughters; Jasmine Diggs; Brianna and Andrea Robinson; three grandsons; Torroderic (Marcel) Williams; Delroy L. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Hammerash was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;was a great cook;pie and cake maker;loved gardening and taking care of her flowers and enjoyed dancing. She was a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V.Court 1522;the Tuesday night bowling league and the PNA Lodge of Monessen. She is survived by two sons & one daughter-in-law William J.& Gerry Hammersash of Perryopolis;Daniel W.Hammerash of Belle Vernon;brother Victor Howski of Monessen;two sisters & brothers-in- law Katherine & Frank Strodoski of Dearborne;MI.;Harriet & Raymond Caldwater of Monessen;3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
