Mary Ann Salvino; 93; of Union; Mo.; formerly of Monessen; died Sunday; May 23; 2010; in her home. She was born in Donora on April 19; 1917; the daughter of the late John and Katherine B. Sanboryn. Mrs. Salvino was a resident of Monessen for more than 40 years before moving in 1982. Since then; she has lived in Poquoson; Va.; Canonsburg; and Union; Miss. While living in Monessen; she was a member of the former St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church; and had worked as a sales clerk at the former Fishers Big Wheel in Charleroi. She is survived by two daughters; Karen A. Rockey; of Canonsburg; and Marilyn L. Kuhn; of Newport News; Va.; a daughter-in-law; Norma Jean Salvino; of Leslie; Miss.; a son-in-law; Brian Kuhn; of Poquoson; Va.; five grandchildren; Richard (Mary); Ronald (Mechele); and Robert Salvino; all of St. Louis; Katalin Rockey; of Canonsburg; and Jamie Kuhn; of Poquoson; Va.; a friend and caretaker; Mary Schindler; of Union; Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Irene E. (Salvino) Baron; 94; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday; Nov. 25; 2012; at Hallsworth House; Monessen. Born Feb. 22; 1918; in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late Guisseppe and Maria Spadafore Salvino. Mrs. Baron was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and Rostraver Township. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Baron was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Belle Vernon Court 1522; the former Legion of Mary St. Sebastian Church; and the former Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 Ladies Auxiliary Irene loved the sound of big bands and attended many local dances. She was also an avid bowler. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Andrew E. and Justina Baron II of Rostraver Township; three grandchildren; Gabriel Baron of Las Vegas; Geoffrey Baron of Washington; D.C.; and Gina and husband; Kenneth Amos; of Whitehall; and great-granddaughter; Kelcie Amos of Whitehall. She is preceded in death by her husband; Andrew E. Baron; in 1978; and three brothers; James Salvino; Jano E. Salvino and James C. Salvino; and five sisters; Emma Zimmaro; Teresa Scurci; Edith Beneccio; Carrie Palm; and Alice Frankie. She was also preceded by a brother in Italy. William Oliver Nutt; 82; of Stockdale; passed away Jan. 22; 2011; in Leesburg; Fla. He was the son of the late Claude and Blanche Nutt. He was also preceded in death by his brother; Claude Nutt; and daughter; Diane. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1952 and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport. He is survived by his wife; Audrey; son and daughter-in-law; William and Joyce Nutt; granddaughter; Rachel Hoffman and family; Joyce’s daughters; Christy Mudry and family; and Lindsey Lawson and family. Donna Auther; 96; of Fayette City; died Thursday; Feb. 12; 2009; in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.; Carroll Township. She was born March 18; 1912; in Fayette City; the daughter of the late William H. McCready and the late Rachel (Overland) McCready. She was a retired postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service in Fayette City. Mrs. Auther was the last remaining member of the first graduating class of Fayette City High School. She was a member of the Fayette City Senior Women’s Club; a charter member of Brightwell-Daugherty American Legion Post No. 484 Ladies Auxiliary; EOS Class of the Fayette City Methodist Church; the former Fayette City Community Building Board; Mt.
