Matson; of Belle Vernon; sister; Marlyn Caramela; of Sinking Springs; Pa.; three nieces and a nephew; Erin Matson; Eric Matson and wife Meghan; Autumn Richthorn and husband Damon; and Ashley Lorah and Husband Josh; and five great-nieces and great-nephews; Jadyn Matson; Makayla Fichthorn; Kyleigh Fichthorn; Michael Lorah and Zachary Lorah. Kennard G. Gumbert Sr.; 74; of Allenport; passed away Wednesday; July 13; 2011. He was born in Bellbridge on April 25; 1937; a son of the late John and Clara Sorg Gumbert. Prior to retirement he was employed by Hercules Chemical in West Elizabeth and Monessen Southwestern Railroad. Protestant by faith; he loved and cherished his wife; grandchildren; and family; and had a passion for gardening and woodworking. Ken always found time to help others and was an inspiration to many. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; John Gumbert. Survivors include his wife of 52 years; Billie Flint Gumbert; a son; Kennard G. Gumbert Jr. and wife; Lynne; two grandsons; William R. Gumbert and fiance; Miranda Harris; and Samuel A.
