Born April 16; 1917; in Charleroi; she was the daughter of the late Logan and Anna Stoner. In addition to her parents ; she is preceded in death by her husband; Otto Payne; Sr.; two sons; Otto Payne Jr. and Oliver Payne; one daughter; Rosetta Pierce; two sisters; Rosabell Harvey and Lucille Woods; two brothers; Dressel Stoner and Edward Drew; two grandchildren; Adam Payne and Attilles Payne; Sr.; two great-grandchildren; Anglea Littlejohn and Jason Towler. Edith was a domestic homemaker and a lifelong resident of Charleroi. She was a former member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Charleroi and currently a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Belle Vernon; where she served on the Nurses Board; Senior Missionary and Mother of the Church. She was also a member of Senior Action Council (SAC) and Vallires Social Club. She leaves to cherish her memory one son; Henry (Judith) Payne; of Charleroi; six grandchildren; Donna Littlejohn; Dorinda (James) Stepoli and Terri Payne; all of Monessen; Denise (Michael) Branham of Houston; Texas; Joan J.J. Andrew Robert Freeman Sr.; a lifelong resident of Monessen; died from a massive heart attack in the Westside Rehabilitation Center in Dothan; Ala.; on Monday; March 12; 2012. Mr. Freeman; who had a short history of heart problems; was recuperating at the center with expectations of being released Friday; March 16. He moved to Dothan in February 2009; to live permanently with his son; Mark. Until the time of his death; Mr. Freeman maintained his home in Monessen; blessed with being able to make periodic visits. Born on Sept. 21; 1926; he was the only child of the late Grady and Cleta Brooks Freeman. Mr. Freeman was known as Hoot by those who knew him well. It was a nickname given him while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was known as Andy by his associates. Mr. Freeman was a longtime and loyal employee of the City of Monessen. During his tenure; he served in several capacities; the last of which was superintendent of streets. He took his job seriously and was able to retire after more than 50 years of service. Besides his parents; Mr. Freeman was predeceased by his wife; Ernestine; his son; Rodney Sr.; and his son-in-law; Floyd T. Carter. He is survived by two sons; Mark and Andrew Jr.; his daughter; Janet; two daughters-in-law; Sherion and Gloria; a grandson; Rodney; and several cousins. Friends will be received at the Union Baptist Church on Friday; March 16; from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the church with the Reverend Jack Howell; a close family friend; presiding. Loral Jean Taylor; 80; of Charleroi; went home to be with her Lord and savior on Friday; March 7; 2014; at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on Oct. 21; 1933; to the late Charles Randolph and Elizabeth Bonds Randolph. She was an only child to this union. Married to the late William R. Taylor Jr. on Sept. 4; 1954; for 27 years; she was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; where she was a supervisor for the Department of Labor and Industry until her retirement. A graduate of Connellsville High School; she also received her Bachelor of Science degree in business; graduating 12th in her class. A member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church; most of her adult life; she was the choir director organist; Sunday school teacher and former church treasurer. Mom Taylor as she was so affectionately called; loved everybody and always welcomed you with open arms in her home. She leaves to cherish her memories five children; Trudy Taylor-Williams (Rodney Jr.); W. Gale Shorter (Ray) of San Jose; Calif.; Eric N. Taylor (Lydia) of Canonsburg; Lori D. Robert Bonucci Jr.; 65; of Fayette City; passed away Sunday; May 13; 2012; in his home. A son of the late Robert and Josephine Lidey Bonucci; he was born in North Charleroi on Feb. 23; 1947. A resident of Fayette City since 1978; he was a member of the National Rifle Association and both the Star Junction and Long Branch Sportsman’s Clubs; and retired in 2002 after 37 years with Corning Glass; Charleroi Plant. Survivors include one son; Robert Bo Bonucci; of Fayette City; one daughter; Jodi Kim Bonucci; of Uniontown; three granddaughters; Lyndey Jo Proud; Lana Karrada Stewart and Lauren Stewart; his companion; Cheryl Binkney; of Charleroi; and one sister; Rose M.
