Robert D. Belsick; 52; of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; died Saturday; Nov. 19; 2011; at 6:40 p.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Nov. 7; 1959; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late Andrew E. and Olga Studnicki Belsick. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Belsick was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was formerly employed as a custodian for the Belle Vernon Area School District. Robert was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School; class of 1978; was an avid animal lover and volunteered at the Friends of Animals Shelter in Fayette County; enjoyed going to movies; line dancing and family gatherings. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law; Kathleen and Bernard Tychinski; of Washington; Pa.; brother and sister-in-law; Richard and Donna Belsick; of Summerville; S.C.; nieces and nephews; Megan Tychinski; Andrew Belsick and wife Becki; Loretta Belsick; Raynae Tychinski; and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by an infant brother; Andrew Belsick. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. Charles Balieu;92;of Charleroi;died Tuesday;July 21;2009;in Adult Assisted Living Dunlevy. He was born May 20;1917;in Charleroi;son of the late Arthur and Mary Billion Balieu. He was a member of the Speers United Methodist Church. Charles retired after 41 years of employment at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Surviving are his wife;Sara Patti Balieu;one son;Arthur Phillip Balieu;of Stockdale;and one daughter;Joyce (David) Harris;of Mapleview. Shirley N. Kudlik; 76; of Monessen; passed away Thursday; Sept. 19; 2013; in Jefferson Regional Health Center. She was born Oct. 31; 1936; in North Belle Vernon a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Edith Martin Nichols. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. Shirley enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children; grandchildren and great-grandchild. Surviving are her husband; John Kudlik; with whom she would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on Oct. 24; children; Richard and Kathi Kudlik of West Newton; Janice Conn and Robin McDivitt of Greensburg; Tim Kudlik and Jodi of Pittsburgh; and Cheryl and husband; John Szakal; of Belle Vernon; 12 grandchildren; Josh and Cindy; Ricky and Ashley; Ashley and William; John; Derek; Taylor; Jena; Christian; Mikela; Justina; Chelsea and Caitlyn; one great-grandchild; her Baby Doll ; Chloe.
