Dorothy V. (Winstone) Johnson Monessen Dorothy V. (Winstone) Johnson; 91; of Monessen; died Tuesday; Sept. 11; 2012; in Hallsworth House III in Monessen. She was born in North Charleroi on Dec. 23; 1920; the daughter of the late David and Sadie Gillespie Winstone. Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; a Mid-Mon Valley Parish. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a former member of the Magic City Bridge Club in Belle Vernon. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law; Bonnie and Harry Niccolai of Monessen; Carol and Rob Street of Rostraver Township; two sisters; Vivian Ammon of Cary; N.C.; and Lorna Wulf of Toledo; Ohio; a brother; Donald Winstone of Deerfield Beach; Fla.; three grandchildren; Brian (Leda) Niccolai of Kennedy Township; Robbie (Georgiana Olinzock) Street of Belle Vernon; and Shari (Jim) Giansante of Jefferson Hills; six great-grandchildren; Jimmy and Lauren Giansante; Dominica; Giovanna and Isabella Niccolai and Jordan Lynn; and by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Herbert O. Johnson; two sisters; Davene McKelvey and Laverne Ferguson; and by a brother; David Winstone. Friends will be received in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES; 441 Reed Ave.; from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday; Sept. 14; 2012; in the funeral home with the Rev. Allen R. Riethmiller officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum.
