Gloria Jean (Moon) Novisel; 75; of Monongahela; died Sunday; Dec. 12; 2010; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 2; 1935; in Monongahela; she was the daughter of the late Albert Lewis and Anna Marie (Gidick) Moon. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Monongahela; and was a 1955 graduate of Monongahela High School. Aside from being a devoted mother and homemaker; Gloria retired in 1992 as a nurse’s aide for the Monongahela Valley Hospital. Surviving are her husband; William E. Novisel Sr.; whom she married March 17; 1990; a daughter; Robin Beth Andrewson-Travaline; of Red Hill; Pa.; two grandchildren; Seth and Lucinda Travaline; her husband’s son; William Jr. and Lori Novisel; of Mt. Airy; Md.; and their children; Dylan and Ashlyn Novisel; and her husband’s daughter; Diane Novisel; of New Alexandria; Pa. Preceding her in death were a son and daughter; Brian Dean Andrewson and Lucinda Jean Andrewson; who both died in infancy. William Novisel Sr.; 80; of Monongahela; died Wednesday; Aug. 31; 2011; at 6:45 p.m. at Residence at Hilltop; Carroll Township. Born Sept. 15; 1930; in Washington Township; he was the son of the late Bertha Shaw. A resident of Monongahela; Mr. Novisel was Catholic by faith and was a retired Steam Turbine Engineer from Pepco; Washington; D.C. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; William Novisel Jr. and wife; Lori; of Mount Airy; Md.; and Barry and Mary Novisel; of Monongahela; one daughter; Diane Novisel; of New Alexandria; and his late wife’s daughter; Robin Travaline; of Red Hill; Pa.; seven grandchildren; Dylan Novisel; Ashlyn Novisel; Sean Novisel; Tyler Novisel; Blair Rodgers; Seth Travaline; and Lucinda Travaline; two brothers; Jimmy Shaw; of Lanham; Md.; and George Shaw; of Fayette City; two sisters; Patty Maxwell; of Fairhope and Marion Tootsey; of Belle Vernon.
