Olga F. Nesti; 92; of North Belle Vernon; passed away Friday; Nov. 1; 2013; in Thorpe’s Personal Care Home. A daughter of the late John and Maria Sebastiani Imperatore; she was born in Canonsburg on Oct. 31; 1921. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon; the Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Court 1522; the Friends of the Veterans and was a member and past treasurer of the Annita Garibaldi Society. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1946; Olga had been employed at Zelenski’s Bridal Shop for over 50 years; retiring in July 2012. She enjoyed frequent trips to the Meadows and loved hosting her friends in her home. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Cynthia and George Malega and Pamela L. Nesti and Robert Kostella; all of Belle Vernon; two brothers and sisters-in-law; John and Mary Imperatore and Harry and Irene Imperatore; all of Canonsburg; a granddaughter; Melissa Kostella and her fiance; Jeremy Susanek; and a good friend; Gilda Marasco of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Romo Bud Nesti on Aug. 1; 2003; one sister; Jean Tomsic; and five brothers; Lee Barret Imperatore; James Imperatore; Quirino Goody Imperatore; Albert Imperatore and Erman Imperatore. William R. Bill Horrell Sr.; 84; of Belle Vernon; founder of MarBill’s; went home to be with the Lord; with his family by his side on Thursday; Feb. 9; 2012. A son of the late James William Horrell and Charlotte Margaret Forseyth Horrell; he was born in Belle Vernon on July 9; 1927. Prior to establishing MarBill’s with his wife; Ann; in 1964; he was an engineer and union official with the Monessen Southwestern Railroad from where he retired in 1981. Bill was a faithful and proud member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon for 62 years and was very active in his community. He was a charter member; Melvin Jones recipient and five time president of the Belle Vernon Lions Club; a regular attendee with the Monessen Lions Club; member and Paul Harris recipient of the Belle Vernon Rotary; 50-year member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; member of the Mon Valley Shipmates; and the Tri-County Lodge 252 F&AM. This past September; he was honored by the Mon Valley Chamber of Commerce with the ‘Excellence in Business’ award. Bill also loved his country and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War with an honorable discharge in August 1954. An avid bowler; he could be found weekly at Brunswick Lanes having fun with his friends; enjoying the game that he loved. He loved making us smile with his quick wit and many jokes that he shared. Survivors include a sister; Eleanor Anderson; of Albany; N.Y.; one daughter; Margaret Ann Bradley; of Atlanta; Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law; Bill and Linda Horrell; of Belle Vernon; four grandsons; Heath Bradley and his wife; Kim; of Atlanta; Ga.; Nick Povich; of Uniontown; Michael Horrell; of Belle Vernon; and Aaron Horrell; of Pittsburgh; three great-grandchildren; Ethan; Megan and Matthew Bradley; of Atlanta; Ga.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Anna Louise Jonas Horrell in 1999; and two brothers; Roy and Jim Horrell.
