Guido L. Simboli; 93; of North Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; Nov. 9; 2010; at 6:20 a.m. in St. Anne Home; Greensburg; where he resided for the past one 1/2 years. Born Feb. 14; 1917; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late Anelito and Josephine Bonucci Simboli. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mr. Simboli was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; a retired coal miner from Republic Steel Banning Mine 3. He served as recording secretary for 23 years for Local 9873 United Mine Workers Union; served on the safety committee at the mine; was a member of the former Italian Beneficial Society Club of Market Street; Belle Vernon; and was a former knight and 3rd Degree Knight with the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 and the former Holy Name Society at St. Sebastian Church. Guido was also an avid hunter; fisherman and gardener. He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law; Rev. Ronald L. Simboli; pastor of St. Joseph’s Church; Uniontown; Dennis and Terry Simboli; of North Belle Vernon; James and Patty Simboli; of Carroll Township; sister; Norma Tonarelli; of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren; Lana Kubistec and husband; Tim; Matthew Simboli; Ashley Simboli; and a great-grandson; Hunter. He is preceded in death by his wife; Irene DeFazio Simboli; on Oct. 29. 2009; a brother; Raymond Simboli; and a sister; Evelina Simboli. A son of the late Frank Allen Wagner and Anna Aiken Wagner; he was born in Belle Vernon (Gibsonton) on Oct. 27; 1931. Methodist by faith; Thomas had resided in Rostraver Township for the past 11 years and had formerly resided in State College; Peters Township and Belle Vernon. Thomas retired from the Sears store at South Hills Village; had worked at the former Gaudio’s Men’s Store in Monessen for many years and served in the U.S. Army. Robert Joseph Trilli; 36; died Tuesday; April 28; 2009; in the late evening. He was residing in Irving; Texas; but was formerly of North Belle Vernon; having lived with his parents. Born Oct. 21; 1972; in Monongahela; he was the son of Arthur F. Trilli Sr. and Nancy (Bly) Trilli; of North Belle Vernon. A resident of Irving for the past 10 years; Mr. Trilli was a former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon and a delivery truck driver for XPEDX Express Co. He was the youngest of 11 children and was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School Class of 1991. Robert was a fun-loving young man who loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He was a huge fan of cars and loved going to car shows with two of his older brothers; Arthur Jr. and William ‘Bill’. He was quite a surprising dancer and was really into line dancing. Along with car shows and line dancing; he had a love for country music with Garth Brooks being his favorite. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Heath Sr.; her son; Joseph ‘JoJo’ Heath Jr.; and her long-time companion; George C. Robinson.
