Catherine Cassie Relich Loulis; 74; of Washington Township; passed away peacefully; Sunday; May 24; 2009; at home with her family at her side. She was a loving wife and mother whose love and devotion will be sadly missed. Cassie was a beautiful; kind; and loving person; who was always there for everyone. To have known Cassie was to love her. Born May 27;1934; in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Sutovich Relich. Cassie was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church; Monessen. Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years; George John Loulis and loving son; John JD Loulis; sisters; Bertha Cvetkovich and husband; Lou; Pearl Cathers and husband; Bill; Betty Hazy and husband; Jim; and Jo Ann Relich; a brother; Nick Relich; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; in addition to her parents; sisters; Mildred Mitzi Marini; Dorothy Beba Milchovich; Stella Ribik; and brothers Mark Relich and George Relich. Private funeral services were held Wednesday; May 27; 2009; at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church; Monessen; with Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Interment was held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Kathryn E. Fugo; 83; formerly of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Saturday; June 18; 2011; in Hempfield Manor; Greensburg. A daughter of the late Salvatore and Marie Rhoda Bitonti; she was born in Clarksburg; W.Va.; on March 18; 1928. She had resided in Belle Vernon since 1954 and was a member of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church. Survivors include five daughters and three sons-in-law; Mary Kathryn and William R. Colclaser; of Norfolk; Va.; Georgina Gina and Douglas Wanko; of Lilburn; Ga.; Christina Tina and William Faltz; of Greensburg; Angela Angie Fugo and Ann Moore; both of Tucker; Ga.; two sisters; Frances Bitonti Levino; of Columbus; Ohio; and Flora Flo Bitonti Bilotte; of Los Angeles; one brother; James Bitonti; of Crystal City; Calif.; and six grandchildren; David J. He was born July 31; 1934 in New Eagle; Pa.; Son of the late John Stanley Lindey and the late Doretha Rudolph. He was a member of Fairhope Rod & Gun Club; Fayette City American Legion; Former Football Coach for the Fayette City Bulldogs and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Irene E. DeFazio Simboli; 91; of North Belle Vernon; died 10:50 p.m. Thursday; Oct. 29; 2009; at Westmoreland Hospital; Greensburg. Born Aug. 12; 1918; in North Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Frustaggi DeFazio. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mrs. Simboli was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church. In the early part of her married life; she was employed as a receptionist to the late Dr. John M. Gemmill; of Belle Vernon. Irene was a good cook; loving wife and mother who loved family; and family was her life. She is survived by her husband; Guido L. Simboli; to whom she was married 69 years; three sons and two daughters-in-law; the Rev. Ronald L. Simboli; pastor of the Church of St. Anne; Rostraver Township; Dennis and Terry Simboli; North Belle Vernon; James and Patty Simboli; of Monongahela; three grandchildren; Lana Kubistek and husband; Tim; Matthew Simboli and Ashley Simboli; a great grandson; Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three brothers; Santos ‘Sam’ DeFazio; Tony DeFazio and James DeFazio and four sisters; Mary DeFazio; Theresa Baker; Rose Campisano and Jennie Evans.
