Donald G. Keller; 72; of North Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Feb. 16; 2011; at 11:37 a.m. at his home. Born March 21; 1938; in Monessen; he was the son of the late Clyde Keller and Mildred Lape Keller Wanzilak. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Keller was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was a retired laborer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a devoted son; brother and uncle to his family. He was also an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law; Melanie and Edward Pearce; of North Belle Vernon; two nephews; Edward C. Pearce and wife; Mary; of Rostraver Township; and Sean Pearce and wife; Lisa; of Fayette City; a great-niece; Nicole Pearce; and three great-nephews; Joshua Pearce and wife; Marina; Damian Pearce and Mason Pearce. Adolph G. Serenari; Jr.; 85; of Fairhope (Belle Vernon) passed away Friday; February 11; 2011 in Canonsburg Hospital. A son of the late Adolph and Annita Serenari; he was born in Belle Vernon on October 8; 1925. Protestant by faith; Adolph was an avid Pitt Football fan; a season ticket holder for over 25 years and was a member of the Pitt Golden Panthers Club. He had worked in the construction industry; and; along with his son had helped build and run the Silver Mine Hobby Store in Washington and Legends in N. Belle Vernon. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A son of the late Joseph and Mary Edwards Amato; he was born in Belle Vernon on Nov. 12; 1925. He was Methodist by faith and was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Prior to retirement in 1986; he had been employed at U.S. Steel Fairless Hills Plant. A veteran of World War II and the Korean War; he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and Air Force.
