Leonora E.Tustin Beazell of 35 Main St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Sept.16;1984; at 2:35 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was 79. Mrs.Beazell was born Oct.4;1904;in Wayne Township;Greene County;a daughter of the late Justus and Ida Ganiear Tustin. A resident of Belle Vernon the past 55 years;she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Beazell was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Belle Vernon Fire Company No.2 of which she was the frst president;a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Western Pennsylvania Fireman’s Association and was also past president of the Past Presidents of that organization. Mrs.Beazell was also past president of the Western Pennsylvania Old Timers Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband;Kenneth N.Beazell;in 1968;and by two brothers;Charles and Ralph Tustin. Survivors include a son;Charles J.Beazell of Tampa;Fla.;a daughter;Mrs.Verne (Sue) Horan of Belle Vernon;and grandchildren;Mr.and Mrs. Charles (Michele) Horan of Washington Twp. and Candy Sue Beazell of Tampa;Fla. Virginia (Virgie) Bickerton of 116 State St.;Speers Hill;died Tuesday;June 19;1984;at 4:10 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 85. Born in Speers Nov.2;1898;she was a daughter of the late Louis A.and Harriet A.Hilton Sneed. Mrs.Bickerton was a lifetime resident of Speers and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. She was a retired school teacher;having worked in a number of area school districts. Mrs.Bickerton was a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and the National Education Association. She was a graduate of California Teachers College;now California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Edward;in 1966. Suriving are one brother;Murel Sneed of Speers Hill and two sisters;Alma Sneed of Speers Hill and Mrs.John (Eleanor) Vetter of Fallowfield Township. Vincent J.Banshak of 311 Center Ave.;North Charleroi;died Sunday;June 10;1984;at 4:00 p.m.in Haven Crest Convalscent Home;Carroll Township. He was 78. Mr.Banshak was born April 8;1906 in United;Westmoreland County. He was the son of the late Jacob and Frances Mojeski Banshak. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Charleroi;F&AM Lodge 750 of Jeannette and the Consistory of Williamsport. Mr.Banshak was a retired meter inspector at West Penn for 49 years and a treasurer of West Penn Credit Union for 19 years. He is survived by his wife Helen Keister Banshak;a daughter;Warren (Patricia) Houseman of Mapleview;two sisters;Leona Banshak ad Sophia Sassos;both of Greensburg;two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bitonti was born Sept. 25; 1909;
in Kingmont; W. Va.. a daughter of the
late Paul and Mary Rota Speen.
She was a member of St. Sebastian
Roman Catholic Church; the Anita
Garibaldi Society and the Defense Club.
Mrs. Bitonti had been a resident of
Belle Vernon the past 56 years.
In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband; Salvatore (Sam);Sept.3;1982. Survivors include four sons;Joseph at home;Frank of Rostraver Township;Samuel of Belle Vernon and Paul of Washington;Pa.;one daughter;Mrs.Paul (Anna) Adametz of Belle Vernon;one brother;John Speen of Detroit;Mich.;and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon.
