He was born in Pittsburgh;a son of the late James and Baldwina Costello Burrows. He was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He retired in 1978 as a scarfer at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.Allenport Plant. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. Born July 21;1900;in Webster;she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Giordnelli Costello. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Mrs.Bello lived in Latrobe since 1994;having formerly resided in Nanty Glo and Belle Vernon. Jordan D. (Duke) Bartolozzi;78;of Roscoe;died Saturday;Sept.30;1995;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was the son of the late Guido and Silvia Meacci Bartolozzi. Mr.Bartolozzi was a retired steelworker;having been employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel at the Allenport Plant. He owned and operated the Bartolozzi Firestone Service in Allenport from 1970 to 1980. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge 643;Caravan 16;Caravan 17;Ancient Scottish Rite;Syria Temple;the Pittsburgh Consistory and the Charleroi Elks 494. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Roscoe. Surviving is his wife;Ruth Lilley Bartolozzi;an aunt Evelyn Jenkins of Perryopolis;and one uncle;Marion Evans of Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Voldo Bartolozzi;and a sister;Gilda Bartolozzi.
