In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife;Margaret J.Holder Christopher;Sept.8;1975;a son;Lloyd D.Christopher;and a brother;Robert Christopher. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was Protestant by faith. Mr.Christopher was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army. A life member of the North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department;he was also a member of the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association;the Charleroi Musical Society and the Tri-County Federation of Musicians. Mr.Christopher retired in 1982 as a bus driver for the Charleroi Area School District. Mrs.Carson was born April 19;1896;in Scott Haven;a daughter of the late James Henry and Sally Jones. She had been a resident of the Pricedale and Arnold City area all of her life. Mrs.Carson was a member of Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church;Pricedale;where she was an active member of the Stewardess Board and the Missionary Board. She was also Mother of the church until she became ill.
