Duane Leonard Doty;30;of Dunlevy was pronounced dead at the scene of a traffic accident;Friday;April 24;1981;at 12:05 a.m.at the Charleroi exit of Interstate 70 in Speers. Duane was born May 4;1950 in North Charleroi. He had been a Monessen resident most of his life and was a graduate of Monessen High School;class of 1968. Mr.Doty was also a graduate of the Institute of Computer Management;Pittsburgh;and was employed at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a U.S.Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr.Doty was Catholic by faith. A former Monessen resident;Lorena Williams Duvall;of 12402 Derbyshire Rd.;Rockville;Md.;died Thursday;April 23;1981;in the Potomac Valley Nursing Home;Rockville. Mrs.Duvall had been a patient at the nursing home since 1974. Born Dec.13;1892 in Uniontown;Mrs.Duvall had been a resident of Mckee Way;Monessen;for many years before moving to Maryland. She had taught art in the Monessen Elementary Schools many years ago. Mrs.Duvall was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen and the Order of Eastern Star;Monessen chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband;Dr.Francis Duvall;M.D.;in 1953. Survivors include two sons;George B.Duvall of Westfield;N.J.;and Francis C.Duvall of Rockville;Md.;seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Marjorie M.Dellamalva;1312 Patton Ave.;Monessen;died FridayFeb.20;1981 t 4:10 a.m.in Jefferson Center;South Hills Health System.  She was 53.  Born March 7;1927 in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Guido and Florence Americo Moncini.  Mrs.Dellamalva was educated in the Monessen schools and had been employed as a medical secretary in the office of Dr.Malcolm Weiss;Monessen.  A member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church;Monessen;she was a member of the Church’s Ladies Guild.  Mrs.Dellamalva was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America;Court 776;Monessen;and was immediate past president of the Monessen Catholic Business and Professioanal Women;Our Lady of Fatima Chapter.  Survivors include her husband;Frank N.Dellamalva;a daughter;Maria L.Dellamalva;at home;two sons;the Rev.Dennis F.Dellamalva;assistant pastor of Mother of Sorrows Church;Murrysville;and Dean R.Dellamalva of Monessen;a grandson;Dean R.Dellamalva;Jr.;and numerous aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by her step-father;Bruno V. Louis S.DeHosse;56;of 424 First St.;Monessen;died Monday;Jan.12;1981;at 10:10 a.m.on admission to Mon Valley Hospital. Mr.DeHosse was born Aug.7;1924;in Charleroi;a son of the late Louis B.DeHosse and Jennie DeHosse Frye;who survives. He was stricken while working at the Monessen Office of the Pennsylvania and Lake Erie Railroad;where he was employed as a traveling agent. Mr.DeHosse was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. A life-long musician (he played the tuba);Mr.DeHosse was a member of the Mon Valley Retired Steelworkers (MARS) Band;the Monongahela Community Band;the Uniontown Concert Orchestra;and the Charleroi Musical Society. He was also a member of the F&AM Lodge No.638;Monessen;and the Valley Consistory and Syria Temple Shrine;both of Pittsburgh. Surviving;in addition to his mother;is his wife;Leatrice Blevens DeHosse;at home;a step-father;Audley Frye;a sister;Mrs.Ronald (Marlene) Toth;of Vestal;N.Y.;a niece and nephew. Maria DiBiase of 448 Chestnut Street;Monessen;died Wednesday;January 7;1981 at her home at 9:37 a.m. She was 80. Mrs.Dibiase was born July 31;1900 in Italy;a daughter of the late Giacinto and Filomena Cornelio Barbetta. She was a member of Saint Cajetan Church and the Rosary Altar Society. Mrs.Dibiase had lived in Monessen since 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband;Santo DiBiase in 1963 and a daughter;Nellie Phillippi on 1963. Survivors include three daughters;Mrs.Ester Pabis of Monessen;Mrs.John (Rose) Gironda of Los Alamitos;Calif.and Mrs.James (Toni) Suppa;with whom she made her home;nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
