He was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pitttsburgh Steel Corp.and was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church. John E.Duwall;45;of Rostraver Road;Belle Vernon R.D.2;died Wednesday;Feb.1;1978;at 10:30 a.m. in St.Francis General Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Duwall was born July 19;1932 in Charleroi;a son of Sarah Rankin Vaughn of Belle Vernon R.D.2;who survives;and the late James W.Duwall. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr.Duwall was owner of the Duwall Construction Company in Rostraver Twp. He was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church;Masonic Lodge F&AM 643;Belle Vernon;Monessen Elks;Belle Vernon Moose;Belle Vernon American Legion;and Mon Valley Home Builders Association. In addition to his father;Mr.Duwall was preceded in death by a twin sister;Eleanor;and another sister;Mary.
