E.Jean Duwall;70;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;died at her home Saturday;Nov.11;1989. She was born in Rostraver Township March 1;1919;a daughter of the late James W.and Sarah Rankin Duwall. Miss Duwall was a retired director of the School of Anesthesiology at St.Francis Hospital;Pittsburgh. She held memberships in the Rehoboth United Presbyterian Church of Rostraver Township and the A.A.R.P.of Rostraver Township. She graduated from Rostraver High School in 1936 and was a graduate of St.Francis School of Nursing. She was a member of the Alumni Association of California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two brothers;John E.Duwall in 1978 and James Duwall in 1986;and two sisters;Mary I.Duwall and M.Eleanor Duwall. she is survived by three sisters;Mrs.Phyllis Smith of Farmington;Mich.;Mrs.June Sanders of North Royalton;Ohio and Mrs.Margaret (Peggy) Jolley of Fayette City;and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George Dohanich;68;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Monday;Nov.6;1989;at 10 p.m. in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. Mr.Dohanich was born May 5;1921;in Fayette City;a son of the late John and Mary Balluch Dohanich. He retired from the basic oxygen furnace (BOF) department of the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.in 1977. Mr.Dohanich was a member of St.Mary Byzantine Catholic Church;Monessen;and the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He had been a resident of Fairhope since 1947. His wife;Irene Hegedus Dohanich;died Aug.24;1989. Two brothers;Mike and Andrew Dohanich;are also deceased. She was also a member of Court Belle Vernon Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
