William M.Doyle of North Charleroi died Thursday;Oct.13;1988;at his home. He was 61. Mr.Doyle was born Aug.8;1927;in Charleroi;a son of the late Forrest and Anna Mae Beatty Doyle. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church;VFW Post 167;American Legion Post 22 and F&AM Lodge 615;all of Charleroi. Mr.Doyle was also a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite;Syria Temple;Mon Valley Caravan No.17;the Slavic Citizens Club of North Charleroi and United Steelworkers Local 1229. A U.S.Navy veteran of World War II;he was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Monessen plant. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother;Carl Doyle;and by a sister;Evelyn Watkins. Survivors include his wife;Retha Mae Lewandowsky;a son;William M.Doyle Jr.of the state of California;two daughters;Patricia Westwood of Dunlevy and Mrs.Gary (Kathy) Faieta of Columbus;Ohio;three sisters;Thelma Albright and Beatrice Grant;both of North Charleroi;and Genevieve Reynard of Omaha;Neb.;and four grandchildren;Tracey Ghilani and Michelle;Melissa and Michael Faieta. She was born Aug.3;1893;in Poland;a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Zamorski. Mrs.Dohan was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. She has lived in Fairhope since 1908. Mrs.Dohan was preceded in death by her husband;Andrew;who died on Sept.1;1948;and her son;John;who died on Oct.3;1985. She is survived by two sons;Frank E.Dohan of Belle Vernon and George V.Dohan of Fayette City;two daughters;Mrs.Mary Ottena of Belle Vernon (Fairhope) and Helen Dohan at home;one daughter-in-law;Alphonsine Dohan of Belle Vernon (Fairhope);three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Marian E.Driscoll of John the 23rd Home for Senior Citizens;Hermitage;formerly of Clark Street;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Aug.3;1988 in Sharon Hospital. She was 77. Miss Driscoll was born Aug.23;1910;in Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township) a daughter of the late Edmond Driscoll;who died in 1963;and Alice Shaffer Driscoll;who died in 1969. Miss Driscoll had been a resident of John the 23rd Home since 1983;spending most of her life in Belle Vernon;where she was a lifelong member of St.Sebastian Church. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court 1322. She had attended Rostraver High School and was a graduate of Monessen High School and the Bertha Leonard Business School in Charleroi. Miss Driscoll retired in 1972 after 35 years of service with the Rostraver Township and Belle Vernon Area School districts. She had served as board secretary in both school districts;and was secretary to the superintendent in both districts;working under three superintendents. Survivors include one brother;J.Bernard Driscoll of Washington;Pa.;three nieces;three great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was born Nov.19;1932;in Coraopolis;a daughter of the late John Williams and Eva Stemmler Mayer of Charleroi;who survives. Mrs.Dudick was a member of the Clavary Bible Church of North Charleroi. She had lived in Belle Vernon since 1981;moving into the borough from Charleroi. She retired from Bell Telephone Company in 1981;having worked in the Charleroi office for 30 years. In addition to her mother;she is survived by her husband;Paul Dudick;one brother;Joseph E.Williams of Severn;Md.;and two nephews and one niece. John P. Destefano;84;of Bethel Park;died Thursday May 12;1988;in McKeesport Hospital;McKeesport. Mr.Destefano was born June 29;1903;in Monessen;a son of Frank and Mary Destefano. He retired in 1965 after 37 years of employment with the former Page Steel and Wire Division of Monessen. Mr.Destefano was a 1921 graduate of Monessen high School.
