Julia (Mihlega) Dacko;84;of Belle Vernon (Fairhope);died Monday;March 1;1999;in Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born in Fairhope;Washington Township;on March 15;1914;a daughter of the late Charles and Theodora Gorjo Mihalega. Besides her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;George Dacko Jr.;in 1956;by two sons;George A.and Charles A.Dacko;and a sister;Helen Mihlega in 1998. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon (Lynnwood). Survivors include two sisters;Mary Pupilli of Belle Vernon and Ann Weaver of McKeesport;a granddaughter;Angel Olszewski;and two grandsons;Alan G.and Aaron F.Olszewski of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;334 Main St.;Fayette City. Born Feb. 16; 1917; in Belle
Vernon; he was a son of the late
Frank R. and Mary Flading
Dayner.
He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon.
A lifelong resident of the
Belle Vernon area; Mr. Dayner
retired in 1977 as a painting
contractor.
At the time of his death; he
was the oldest living life member of the North Belle Vernon
Volunteer Fire Department.
A 1934 graduate of North
Belle Vernon High School; Mr.
Dayner was a former member of
the Belle Vernon Lions and the
Mon Valley Country Club.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a son;
Denny; in 1962.
Survivors include his wife;
Hazel Bush Dayner; with whom
he celebrated 58 years of marriage on May 1; 1998: one son
and daughter-in-law; Dean D.
and Mary Kay Dayner of California; Pa.; one sister; Thelma
Catrino of Belle Vernon; one
brother and sister-in-law; Clarence and Marge Dayner of Cortland; Ohio: and one grandson;
Jason Dayner.

Mr. Dohan was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church of Belle Vernon and the
Belle Vernon Moose lodge.
He retired after 39 years of
service from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; Monessen plant; where he worked as a
stopper marker.
Mr. Dohan was later associated with Cornell’s Hardware
in Belle Vernon for many years.
Survivors include his wife;
Myra Cornell Dohan; and two
sisters; Mary Ottena and Helen
Dohan; both of Fairhope. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers; John and George
Dohan.
